Dam Square Fair, Amsterdam in April 2012

 During a visit to the Netherlands in April 2012 I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph the funfair taking place in Dam Square, Amsterdam. The fair was a large fair in a compact space which made it challenging for photography but hopefully the gallery of photos give a taste of the attractions the fair had to offer. It was reasonably busy when I walked through on April 21st and one can only imagine how busy it gets later in the month for the celebration of Queens Day. The fair had some big rides but was carefully laid out to maximise the potential of the available space.
