Welcome to my website and I hope you enjoy your visit. I am Tim Fountain and based in Rugby. I have been interested in photography for the past 30 years and finally converted to digital 4 years ago.

I like to photograph most things although I specialise in motor sport, nature and transport photography although examples of all my pictures will appear on my site. Being centrally situated means I can travel easily to most parts of the country and do so in search of capturing the moment.

My first love are motor bikes, although I seldom get to ride my own these days. I try to attend as many rounds of the BSB as possible along with the MotoGP and various motocross events. After always shying away from going, I discovered Drag racing a few years ago and became hooked. Motor racing is mainly restricted to the BTCC and SCSA although various other events are attended where possible. I like to follow F1 Stock Car racing but have not photographed that too much yet.

We are proud to be associated with Ian Turburville and his team taking on the might of the top fuel bikes in the ACU Top Fuel series and the cream of Europe in selected rounds of the UEM Supertwin championship. The team have improved consistently and riding Mr Spokehead Ian has set new benchmarks for UK riders in the Supertwin Top Fuel record book.

The change to digital has enabled me to both experiment more and also increase the number of photos I take each year. I am not the worlds best photographer and class myself as a serious amateur. I will be more than happy to let you have copies of photos for your own use or publicity and all I would ask in return is that I get a clear mention and plug.

I am happy to try and get pictures for anyone at events I’m attending and if there are any specific requests then please get in touch with me. We are always pleased to undertake dedicated photo shoots and if you wish to discuss this please do not hesitate to contact me.

All of my photographs are now taken with a Nikon digital SLR cameras. The equipment that I currently use consists of :-
