Wheels 2012

 The third Wednesday of each June sees the Coventry and Warwickshire Motor Club hold the “Wheels” event at the Blue Lias Stockton. The event looked to be in doubt but a few nice days saw the field dry out quickly and a bumper turnout taking advantage of a pleasant Summer evening.

The event raises funds for Warwickshire Air Ambulance and is a chance for owners of cars and bikes to show off their pride and joy. There were even a few lorries thrown in for good measure although due to its late arrival and the huge turnout the ex Coventry City Daimler double-decker was parked out on the road this year.

There was literally everything from a bubble car to a Scammell and Honda Monkey bikes to Harley Davidson’s.
