About me

timtime is the personal website for Tim Fountain.

Photography has been a passion since leaving school and has unified my many other interests. Although until the advent of digital my photography was rather self-indulgent, the chance to share my photographs is one I am all to happy to adopt.

My interests are wide-ranging and the spectrum of my photography reflects this. Whilst my great love is motor sport, away from this I enjoy the natural world, particularly Birds and Flora with transport photography always having been an active part of my life.

Being centrally situated in Warwickshire means I can travel easily to most parts of the country and do so in search of capturing the moment. Specialising in motorsport photography, with a particular emphasis on Drag Racing I try to cover the whole event and not just concentrate on the track action

Motorsport wise my first love are motor bikes, although I never seem to find enough time to ride my own these days. I enjoy most forms of motorsport and visit as many events as my budget and time permits, from clubmans to MotoGP and trials to drags. Cars outside of drag racing are mostly restricted to some rallies and Brisca F1, although I do attend other events particularly a number of car meets/shows.

After always shying away from going, I discovered Drag racing a few years ago and became hooked. We are proud to be associated with Ian Turburville and Team Turboville supporting both Ian and Laura in their respective cars classes.

I am happy to try to get pictures for anyone at events I’m attending and if there are any specific requests then please get in touch with me. I would always be pleased to discuss dedicated photoshoot’s and if this is something that may be of interest to you then please do not hesitate to contact me. I would listen to what is required and would then offer my own input, the net result being a service tailored to individual needs and my chance to give something back.

On a personal note. I support various bodies and charities including the Royal British Legion Riders branch, Riders For Health,  Afghan Heroes, Help For Heroes, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and Butterfly Conservation. My work has been published in a wide range of publications from the local papers to specialist magazines and can be found across the internet on a multitude of websites from individual teams, championship promoters and track websites.

I hope that you enjoy the photographs contained within the galleries of my website. New pictures are being taken all of the time, so please keep an eye on the site for regular updates. If you would like to subscribe to my mailing list then please fill submit your e-mail address and I will contact you each time a gallery is added or updated. Please note that a number of the photographs contained on the website are here to show what I can offer, however the licensing relating to certain events means I am not able to offer photographs from certain galleries.
