The 2014 Armed Forces Day event for Market Harborough took place in Welland Park with displays for various groups associated with all the Forces and my primary reason for going a representation of bikes and member from the Royal British Legion Riders Branch. Ably led by Roger (blackdog) Mills and supported by members from Leicestershire and adjoining counties there were 8 bikes and 2 trikes. The bikes drew healthy attention and a few member prospects. I had an interesting conversation with the daughter of an 80 year old biker who celebrated his birthday to his families chagrin with a ride out on his bike. Good for him!
