Vulcan Diamond Jubilee Tour 2012

 To celebrate 60 years of Avro Vulcan the last flight for XH558 in 2012 was a sortie to commemorate the Vulcan’s Diamond Jubilee. The celebration was marked by undertaking  a sortie of flypasts at locations associated with the Vulcan’s. The flight enjoyed great weather and I made my way to see it at Coventry Airport.

The turnout was huge and we were treated to some wing waves by the crew. but all too soon the aircraft had passed and banked steeply over Kenilworth to pick up the flight line for Birmingham Airport its next passing point.
