Meriden Megaride 2012

The Meriden Megaride took place on June 10th and after some decidedly poor weather forecasts the day was very nice. The run is organised by the Rotary Club of Meriden and the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians to raise money for Rotary International.

The event is two-fold starting with a ride out from Alcester to the venue at Meriden and then the gathering at the Queens Head in Meriden.

I decided to tag on to the road run halfway and had a pleasant ride in and spent an enjoyable time looking at the bikes, catching up with friends and enjoying the sun. The RBLR had a good presence at the Megaride and there was a good turn out of members.
